The Wellington Arms, a 1930's architectural jewel, was fully rehabilitated 20 years ago. Today, it offers studio suites, one, two and three bedroom residences restored with to-the-moment amenities. The European flair of the 1930's that is present in the Wellington has been conceptually reinforced during the re-presentation of the grand dame and homeowners are encouraged to retain these features in their private space.
The Wellington's water system begins with a new 2 1/2" water supply main from the street which supplies water to each private residence. Two of the most efficient hot water storage tank heaters available are in place to supply recirculating hot water to all fixtures throughout the building in seconds. All water piping in the building and shut off valves to kitchens, lavatories and water closets have been replaced with copper pipe and zoned valves to eliminate shutting down the entire system if a problem occurs.
